Ingredients
1/4 cup mashed bananas, about 1 medi
1 cup grated fresh zucchini
1/4 cup frozen grape juice concentra
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup whole-wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp grated lemon zest
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the banana, zucchini, juices, and vanilla.
Blend well. In a separate large bowl, combine the remaining
ingredients. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix
thoroughly. Pour into a nonstick 8x4" loaf pan and bake for about 1
1/4 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out
clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then loosen the sides
gently with a spatula, invert, and remove from the pan. Cool
completely on a rack.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet system started by Florida-based cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that dieters should be eating "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Doctor agatston invented his nutritional system as an aid to patients with heart conditions, as a consequence of his detailed study of scientific data completed on other weight loss studies. Approved foods include, veal cutlets, skinless poultry, oysters, parmesan cheese, peanuts, nonfat yoghurt and certain vegetables, such as artichokes, broccoli and snow peas. The low calorie diet In simple terms, the low-cal diet is based on the fact that if you are going to achieve weight loss, the most important step is to eat fewer calories than you burn up. The calorie defined? The calorie is the standard unit for energy measurement in dieting. The 'calorie' is the amount of heat required to raise 1 kilogram of water 1 degree centigrade. If something contains more calories, then it will gives you more energy to use when your body digests it. Low calorie foods include cabbage, radishes, watermelon, beef, and white eggs. Foods rich in flavonoids (inlcudes dark chocolate, kohlrabi, soya and chamomile) The nutrients known as flavonoids found in these types of food show promise in fighting cancer. Researchers researching the properties of flavonoids believe that they may also have many healthy properties, including, but not limited to, anti-dermatitis and antitumor capabilities. Many are low in calories, so make sure you add them to your diet. |
