Ingredients
2 tsp gelatin
2 tbsp hot water
1 1/4 cup evaporated milk, chilled
1 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp sugar equivalent sweetener
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Whisk the milk and almost cold gelatin
together and add the flavoring and sweetener.
Pour into freezing trays and freeze without stirring. Serve with
fruit.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a weight loss system invented by Florida-based cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses that one should consume "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Doctor agatston invented his weight loss system for people who have cardiac problems, based on his detailed study of scientific data completed on other weight loss regimes. Good foods include, veal cutlets, turkey bacon, shrimp, ricotta cheese, pistachio nuts, lowfat yoghurt and certain vegetables, like butter beans, cauliflower and water chestnuts. The low calorie diet In simple terms, the low calorie diet states that if you plan to diet successfully, then you have to take in less calories than you burn up. So what is a calorie? The calorie is the standard unit for energy measurement in dieting. A food calorie is the the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree centigrade at atmospheric pressure. If something contains more calories, then it will provide your body with a larger amount of energy when your body converts it. Foods low in calories include watercress, tomato, melon, low fat hot-dogs, and bamboo shoots. The brassicas, Healthy superfoods that help with Weight loss (eg. Kale, Green beans, Mizuna and Rutabaga) Known as cruciferous vegetables, these are packed with vitamins (eg.folate), minerals (eg. potassium), fibre, chlorophyll, antioxidents and isothiocyanates. Over and above their many health and weight loss benefits, these contain isothiocyanates, which are believed by nutritionalists to help reduce the cancer risk. |
