Ingredients
46 oz can tomato juice
6 each limes, juiced
2 tsp salt
8 dash tabasco sauce
2 tsp ground cumin
1 each lime slices for garnish
Directions
Mix all ingredients except lime slices. Put mixture in a pitcher and float
the lime slices. Guests can serve this over ice or add vodka.

The Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition system initially detailed by Barry Sears in a number of books, publications and an associated website. The Zone diet isn’t expressly a weight loss diet, although many people find that they reduce weight by following this system. The main theory behind the Zone Diet is that if you manage to control the secretion of insulin and glucogen (both hormones), then your body releases eicosanoids which, as a consequence puts the body in a state of balance which is much more healthy than other diets, which followers of the diet, refer to as '"he zone". Sears believes that a body that is in 'the zone' is much more efficient and, as a consequence, doesn't build up fat. The key procedure of the zone diet is to monitor and control the exact ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to make sure your diet has increased amounts of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils. |
