The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1 stephen ceideburg
8 english breakfast tea bags
4 cup water
2 tbsp almond syrup (orgeat syrup, see not, e)
1 whole milk
1 ground nutmeg or chocolate, optiona, l garnish


Directions

Prepare a strong tea with 8 English Breakfast tea bags in 4 cups
boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes, gently squeeze tea bags and
remove. Pour 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of hot tea into each tea cup,
add 1 teaspoon of almond syrup and stir. Steam whole milk with the
steamer of an espresso machine, add 1 tablespoon steamed milk and top
with foamed milk. Garnish with ground nutmeg or chocolate if desired.

Note: Orgeat syrup can be found in liquor stores or in the bar
supplies section of your supermarket.

Per serving: 24 calories (11 percent from protein, 64 per-cent from
carbohydrate, 25 percent from fat), 1 gram protein, 4 grams
carbohydrate, 1 gram fat, 3 milligrams cholesterol, 18 milligrams
sodium.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet plan invented by Cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that one should consume "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston developed this diet for his cardiac patients, based on his detailed study of scientific research completed on other weight loss systems.
Examples of good foods include, lean beef, skinless poultry, clams, cottage cheese, peanuts, eggs and certain vegetables, like split peas, celery and snow peas.


The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a nutrition system first detailed by Barry Sears in a number of books, publications and an accompanying website. The Zone diet is not distinctly a fat reduction diet, although many people find that they seem to lose weight by following the zone diet.
The science behind the Zone Diet is that if you can control the levels of insulin and glucogen (two hormones produced naturally by your body), then anti-inflammatory chemicals are released which, as a result puts your body in a state of equilibrium which is a lot more healthful than other diets, which is known as the zone.
Sears states that if you get into this 'zone', your body is much more efficient and, as a result, doesn't convert energy to unsightly fat.
The main process of the diet is to monitor and control the exact ratio of carbs to proteins, and to ensure your diet has increased amounts of Omega 3 and omega 6.


The Atkins’ Diet
Originating way back in the 1960s, the popular atkins diet is still widely used today. Although not accepted by all scientists, it supposedly allows fat reduction but still allows you to eat many of the foods you love, eg fatty meat and butter.
On the atkins diet you are supposed to eat fat and protein, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. Because of this, it is known as a low carbohydrate, high protein, nutrition and weight loss system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
With this diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and, as a result, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil.
