Diet Summer Breakfast Sundae Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Diet informationThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet system started by Dr. arthur agatston which emphasizes that dieters should eat "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Dr. agatston invented this diet for people who have heart disease, based on his analysis of scientific studies completed on other diets. Good foods include, broiled ham, skinless poultry, clams, mozzarella cheese, almonds, nonfat yoghurt and some vegatables, such as lentils, cauliflower and snow peas. The Glycaemic Index Diet The gi index nutrition system is based around the gi index, a list of types of food and a score illustrating the rapidity that the energy of the food type gets converted to glucose in the dieters bloodstream. The claim is that long-acting types of food (ie with a low Gi number), suppress your appetite and help you to cut down on food without feeling you are missing out. It's also very useful for diabetes sufferers, as the low GI types of food are helpful in reducing increases in glucose levels. |
