Superfoods containing lycopene (includes water melon, papaya & spiny bitter gourd) The nutrient lypcopene is a simple compound and member of the phytochemical group known as 'carotenids'. Lycoprene's main medical value is that it works as an antioxidant and appears to be of use in the battle to lower the chances of developing cancer.
