Foods containing allyl sulfides
( includes pickled shallots, chives and welsh onion)

The onion family is high in allyl sulphides, a chemical which experts believe may be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is not much scientific proof published, allyl sulphides are also thought by many researchers to reduce symptoms with blood circulation, sterilization and physical exhaustion.

Foods containing allyl sulfides are also good for weight loss, so should be included in your diet system.

Cruciferous vegetables, Superfoods that aid Weight loss
(examples: Kohlrabi, Watercress, Turnip greens and Daikon)
Vegetablesi in the brassica family are packed with vitamins (eg.folate and vitamin c), minerals (eg. potassium), fibre, chlorophyll and antioxidents.

In addition to their many other beneficial effects, the minerals, vitamins and nutrients in these are thought by doctors to help reduce the cancer risk.

The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi (or glycaemic index) weight loss regime is based on the gi (or glycaemic index), a chart showing food types and a score representing the speed that the carbohydrates of the food gets transformed to sugar in the dieters body. The theory is that slow release foods (ie with a low Gi number), keep you feeling full longer and mean that you can take in less food without being miserabl;e.
It's also extremely effective for individuals with diabetes, as the low GI food types are helpful in controlling surges in blood sugar amount.

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
