Ingredients
2 tbsp catsup
8 oz fat-free cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup minced onion
2 tbsp reduced-fat mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb shelled, cooked shrimp, diced
3 sprigs fresh dill
Directions
Mix the catsup, cream cheese, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and
Worcestershire sauce together until well blended.
Add the shrimp and stir. Garnish with fresh dill and serve with low-sodium
crackers.
This recipe yields 16 servings. Serving size: 1 tablespoon.

The Atkins’ Diet Originating way back in the 1960s, the famous atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systms over the last few years. Having many well known film stars amongst its supporters, it supposedly allows weight reduction whilst allowing you to eat many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, like fatty meat and hard cheese. With this diet you eat protein and fat, it is carbohydrates that need to be avoided. It is often referred to as a high protein, low carb, diet system. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, amongst them, cereals and pasta made from white flour. With the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are still nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter & olive oil. |
