Diet Shrimp And Snow Peas With Rotini Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Diet informationThe Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition and weight loss system first detailed by Barry Sears in a number of books, publications and an associated web site. The Zone diet isn’t specifically a weight loss diet, nevertheless some people believe that they manage to lose a few pounds by following it. The 'science' behind the Zone Diet is that if one can limit the amount of two important hormones, (insulin and glucogen), then your body releases eicosanoids (anti-inflamatory chemicals) which, in turn puts your body in a balanced state which is far more wholesome than other diets, which followers of the diet, refer to as '"he zone". Sears holds the theory that when in the 'zone', your body is much more efficient and, as a consequence, doesn't need to build up stores of fat. The main process of the diet is to keep tight control over the ratio of carbs to proteins, and to dose yourself with increased levels of Omega 3 and omega 6. |
