The Recipe Instructions

Ingredients

1/3 cup water
1 cup white grape juice
1 package quick-rise yeast, (1 tb)
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp oil
4 cup rye flour plus up tp 1/2 cup

Directions

Warm the water and grape juice to about 115 F and stir in the yeast.
Let the mixture stand for about 10 minutes or until it is foamy. Stir
in the salt, oil, and 2 cups of the flour, and beat it with a spoon
or mixer until it is smooth.

Add enough of the rest of the flour to make a soft dough. Knead the
dough on a floured board for 10 minutes. Place the dough in an oiled
bowl, turn it over so the top of the ball is also oiled, and cover it
with a towel. Let it rise in a warm (85 to 90 F) place for about 45
minutes, or until it is doubled in volume.

Shape the dough into a loaf, place it in an oiled 8 x 4 inch loaf
pan, and let it rise in a warm place again for about 30 minutes, or
until it doubles in volume. Bake at 425 F for 10 minutes, then lower
the oven temperature to 350 F for an additional 35 to 45 minutes of
baking. Remove it from the oven when the loaf is brown and has pulled
away from the sides of the pan slightly. Makes one loaf.

Diet information

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet plan created by Dr. arthur agatston, a cardiologist from miami, usa, which stresses that one should consume "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston invented his weight loss system for people who have cardiac problems, based on his detailed study of scientific data on other nutritional studies.
"good" foods include, canadian bacon, skinless poultry, oysters, ricotta cheese, pistachio nuts, nonfat milk and certain vegetables, such as green beans, collard greens and water chestnuts.

The Atkins’ Diet
Originating way back in the 1960s, the popular atkins diet is still one of the most popular diets today. Although highly controversial, it claims to allow weight reduction but still allows you to eat foods that are normally considered bad for diets, like lamb and eggs.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet you eat protein and fat, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. Because of this, it is known as a low carbohydrate, high protein, nutrition and weight loss system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
With this diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and, as a consequence, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil.

The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a nutrition and weight loss system initially devised by Barry Sears in a series of books, publications and an associated web site. The Zone diet is not particularly a fat reduction diet, but many people find that they actually seem to lose body weight by following the zone diet.
The science behind the Zone Diet is that if you limit the amount of two key hormones, (insulin and glucogen), then your body releases eicosanoids (anti-inflamatory chemicals) which puts the body in a state of equilibrium which is an awful lot more healthy than it normally is, known as the 'zone'.
Sears believes that when in the 'zone', your body is working at its best and, as a result, doesn't convert energy to unsightly fat.
The key method of the zone diet is to monitor and control the exact ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to make sure your diet has plenty of Omega 3 fish oils.

"A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.
"Walter Savage Landor"

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
Phillip C. McGraw
