The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

2 cup water
1 chicken-flavored bouillon cube
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 can tomato sauce - (8-oz can)
1 green bell pepper, seeded, chopped


Directions

Boil the water in a large saucepan. Add the bouillon cube and stir.

Add the remaining ingredients, stir well, and return to a boil. Reduce the
heat to simmer and cook, covered, for 20 minutes.

This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.

The low calorie diet

Put simply, the low calorie diet says that if you are going to reduce weight, it is important to cut down on calories than you use.

Definition of a calorie?
A calorie is a unit of measurement for energy. A food calorie is the amount of heat required to raise 1 kilogram of water 1 degree centigrade. If a food type has more calories, then it will provide your body with more energy when it is eaten.

Foods low in calories include brussels sprouts, mushrooms, grapefruit, beef, and low-fat cheese.

These cruciferous vegetables are packed with vitamins (including vitamin c and folate), minerals (including potassium and selenium), fibre, chlorophyll, antioxidents, isothiocyanates, and indole-3-carbinol.

Among many other beneficial effects, some of these nutrients are believed to reduce the risk of cancer.

The Atkins’ Diet
Originating way back in the 1960s, the famous atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systems over the last few years. Popular with many famous celebrities, it enables weight reduction whilst encouraging you to eat many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, such as fatty meat and egg and cheese.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet you are supposed to eat fat and protein, it is carbohydrates that need to be avoided. Because of this, it is known as a high protein, low carb, diet.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
With this diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and, as a result, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and, as a consequence, olive oil.

The Atkins’ Diet Theory
The logic of the atkins diet is that if we eat less carbohydrates, we will deplete our fat and we will achieve weight loss
