Ingredients
2 cup water
1 chicken-flavored bouillon cube
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 can tomato sauce - (8-oz can)
1 green bell pepper, seeded, chopped
Directions
Boil the water in a large saucepan. Add the bouillon cube and stir.
Add the remaining ingredients, stir well, and return to a boil. Reduce the
heat to simmer and cook, covered, for 20 minutes.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.

Low calorie diet
In short, the low-cal diet states that if you are going to get rid of some fat, the most important step is to consume less calories than you actually use. The calorie defined? A calorie is a unit of measurement for energy. A food calorie is the the energy required to increase the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree centigrade at normal atmospheric pressure. If a meal contains more calories, then it will will give you more energy when your body converts it. Low calorie food types include lettuce, tomato, watermelon, low fat hot-dogs, and skimmed milk. The brassica family, Healthy super foods that also help with your Dieting (includes Cauliflower, Cabbage, Mizuna and Radishes) Known as cruciferous vegetables, these are full of vitamins (eg.folate and vitamin c), minerals (selenium and potassium, amongst others), isothiocyanates, antioxidents and indole-3-carbinol.
