Ingredients
1/4 cup water
1 tsp unflavored gelatin
2/3 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup evaporated skim milk
2 tbsp powdered sweetener (aspertm.
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup frozen whipped non-dair.topp
Directions
In a small saucepan combine water and gelatin. Let stand for 5 min.
Cook and stir over low heat till gelatin dissolves.
Transfer to a medium mixing bowl. Stir in pumpkin, milk, sweetener,
and pumpkin pie spice. Chill till partially set (the consistency of
unbeaten egg whites). Fold in whipped topping.
Spoon into individual dessert dishes. Chill for 1 to 3 hours or till
firm. Makes 4 servings, each 1/3 cup.

Low calorie diet
Rather obviously, the low calorie diet says that if you intend to lose weight, it is essential to eat less calories than you need. Definition of a calorie? A calorie is a measurement of the energy provided by food. The food calorie is the the amount of energy required to raise one cubic centimeter of water by one degree centigrade. If something has higher calories, then it will gives you more energy when consumed. Low calorie foods include watercress, tomatoes, grapefruit, ground turkey, and skimmed milk. Foods containing allyl sulfides ( includes garlic, chives and welsh onion) The alliaceae range of vegetables is rich in allyl sulphides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer. Although there is insufficient scientific proof at hand, allyl sulphides are also thought by many experts to reduce problems with colds, arteriosclerosis and physical exhaustion. Foods containing allyl sulfides are also good for weight loss, so are ideal for including in your diet. |
