mushrooms, chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon pepper, and rice to beans,
cook over low heat for about 1/2 hour.
This is complete nutrition when eaten with some green salad. Nearly no fat,
and none animal. You can eat as much as your heart desires and gain not an
ounce. I soak my beans over night in soda water to eliminate gas.
For variety, use beef stock, and other veggies sauteed, and other
spices...the variety is infinite! The taste is DELICIOUS!!!!

Lycopene is behind the deep red hue of quite a few types of food. Fortunately, unlike many nutrients, it does not become less effective if subjected to heat, but is really increased in efficacy by the cooking process. . Its key benefit is that it works as an antioxidant and appears to be an asset in the battle to lower the chances of contracting cancer. This useful phytochemical is the most efficacious fighter of singlet oxygen, which is correlated with skin aging. It's also thought by many researchers to hamper the progression of diseases affecting arterial blood vessels. Foods containing allyl sulfides ( includes eschalot, chives and welsh onion) The alliaceae family of foods is rich in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer. Even though there is little scientific proof published, allyl sulfides are also thought to reduce symptoms with antiinflammatory effect, high blood pressure and fatigue. Foods containing allyl sulfides are also low in calories, so should be a part of every diet. |
