Diet information

The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi index diet is based on the glycaemic index, a list of types of food and a score illustrating the ease that the glucose in the food gets changed to sugar in your body. The believe is that long-acting foods (ie with a low Glycaemic index score), suppress your appetite for longer and help to eat less food without feeling you are always hungry.
It is also very beneficial for folk with diabetes, as the low GI foods are helpful in minimizing rises in glucose amount.

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
