The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a diet initially suggested by Barry Sears in a number of books and publications. The Zone diet is not exactly a fat reduction diet, although many people claim that they really reduce a few pounds when following it.
The 'science' claimed for the Zone Diet is that if one can limit the levels of the hormones 'insulin' and 'glucogen', then your body releases eicosanoids which, as a consequence puts one's body in a state of equilibrium that is much, much more healthy than other diets, which is known as the zone.
Sears claims that when in the 'zone', your body is perfectly balanced and, as a result, doesn't convert energy to unsightly fat.
The most important process of the zone diet is to control the precise ratio of carbs to proteins, and to ensure your diet has increased amounts of Omega 3 fish oils.

The Atkins’ Diet
Although it originated back in the 1960s, the atkins diet is still widely used today. Although not accepted by all scientists, it supposedly allows fat reduction whilst still eating many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, for example meat and cheeses.
With this diet you eat protein and fat, avoiding carbohydrates almost completely. Because of this, it is known as a low carb/high protein, diet system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil.

The Atkins’ Diet Theory
The logic of the famous atkins diet is that if we eat fewer carbohydrates, we will use up our fat and we will get rid of some fat

Lycopene superfoods
(includes watermelon, red peppers & rosehip)

The chemical lypcopene is a non-synthetic chemical compound and a member of the same group of phytochemicals as carotene. It is responsible for the vivid red color of many fruit and vegetables.

Unlike many nutrients, it is not damaged if it is cooked, but is truly enhanced by the cooking process.

. Lycoprene's key value is that it behaves as an antioxidant and is believed to be of use in the fight to lower the chances of contracting cancer.

It is the strongest quencher of singlet oxygen, which is correlated with skin aging. It is also believed to slow down the progression of atherosclerosis.

"A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.
"Walter Savage Landor"

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
