The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a weight loss system created by Cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that dieters should eat "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Dr. agatston developed his weight loss system for people who have cardiac problems, as a consequence of his analysis of scientific studies on other weight loss systems. Good foods include, lean cuts of beef, turkey bacon, shrimp, fat-free cheeses, peanuts, nonfat milk and certain vegetables, such as asparagus, lettuce and turnips. Carotenoid foods (includes cilantro, mangos and tomato puree) These colorful superfoods contain alpha and beta carotenes believed by experts play a key role in minimizing the chances of contracting, particularly of the lungs. The majority of these are low in calories, so are ideal for including in your weight loss program. |
