The Recipe Instructions

Ingredients

1/2 tsp butter or margarine for baking dish
2 tbsp butter or margarine - cut into smal, l pieces
1 10 oz. loaf french or italian bread, - cut into 1
8 large eggs
3 cup skim milk
4 tsp sugar - or sugar equivalent to 4 ts, . sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla extract

Directions

This was posted on *P by Maggie Cecil-Zachos - ID#JSHM25A - and is a
favorite of hers.
Grease a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish with the 1/2 tsp. butter or
margarine. Arrange bread in one layer in baking dish.
In a large microwave safe bowl or pan, mix eggs, salt, sugar, milk
and vanilla. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat on HIGH for
five (5) minutes, stirring twice.
For heating on the range, place the egg mixture in a medium
saucepan and heat on medium, stirring as needed, until hot, BUT NOT
BOILING, about 5 minutes. Be careful not to let the mixture boil,
because it will set the eggs.
Pour the hot egg mixture gently over the bread slices and cover with
plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.....
To bake - dot with the 2 tbsp. butter pieces and place uncovered
pan in cold oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, until
bread is puffy and lightly brown. Remove from heat and let stand 5
minutes.
Serve with Cary's SF Syrup, sugar free jelly, or fresh fruit.
Enjoy..... Converted by MMCONV vers. 1.00

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet system invented by Cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses that dieters should eat "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston invented his nutritional system as an aid to patients with heart conditions, based on his detailed analysis of scientific studies on other dietary studies.
Good foods include, veal cutlets, chicken breast, seafood, parmesan cheese, pistachio nuts, eggs and certain vegetables, like artichokes, cauliflower and turnips.

The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a diet system primarily invented by Barry Sears in a series of books. The Zone diet is not particularly a fat reduction diet, however many zone diet fans find that they really manage to lose body weight when following it.
The scientific theory behind the Zone Diet is that if you manage to limit the amount of the hormones 'insulin' and 'glucogen', then your body releases eicosanoids which, as a result puts the body in a balanced state that is a lot more healthy than normal, which is known as the zone.
Sears believes that if you get into this 'zone', your body is perfectly balanced and, as a consequence, does not need to build up stores of fat.
The main process of the system is to control the exact ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to dose yourself with increased levels of Omega 3 fish oils.

Foods rich in flavonoids
(inlcudes dark chocolate, brussels sprouts, yams & basil)

The nutrients known as flavonoids present in these fruits and vegetables show promise as anti-carcinogens.
Researchers studying the nutritional effects of flavonoids think they might also have numerous healthy benefits, including, but not limited to, anti-candida and anti-platelet properties.
A good number are low in calories, so make sure you add them to your diet system.

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
