Ingredients

1 tbsp reduced-fat cream cheese
1 flour tortilla - (6" dia)
1 tsp strawberry jam
1 New Zealand kiwi fruit, peeled, and
thinly sliced


Directions

Spread the cream cheese over the flour tortilla. Spread the strawberry jam
over half of the tortilla.

Place the kiwi slices over the other half of the tortilla. Fold the two
sides together and serve.

This recipe yields 1 serving.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a weight loss system started by Cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that one should consume "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Doctor agatston invented the south beach diet for people who have heart disease, based on his detailed analysis of scientific research completed on other dietary studies.
Good foods include, lean beef, chicken breast, prawns, fat free cheese, almonds, eggs and certain vegetables, like green beans, collard greens and water chestnuts.


The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a nutrition system primarily advocated by Barry Sears in a series of books, publications and an associated website. The Zone diet is not specifically a fat reduction diet, however many zone diet followers claim that they actually manage to lose a few pounds by following it.
The scientific theory behind the Zone Diet is that if you manage to limit the secretion of the hormones 'insulin' and 'glucogen', then your body releases eicosanoids which, as a result puts the body in a balanced state that is more wholesome than usual, this is referred to as 'the zone'.
Sears claims that when in the 'zone', your body is much more efficient and, because of this, does not need to build up stores of fat.
The most important method of the zone diet is to maintain the ratio of carbs to proteins, and to ensure you get high levels of Omega 3 fish oils.
