Ingredients
1 bag frozen peppers and onions - (16
1 lb frozen boneless skinless chicken cu, defrosted
1/2 package taco seasoning mix
= (use more or less depending on
desired spiciness)
1/2 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken bro
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large nonstick skillet and bring to a boil
over medium-high heat.
Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Add more broth if
necessary.
This recipe yields 4 servings. Serving size: 4 ounces.

Foods containing allyl sulfides
( includes garlic, onions and spring onions) The onion family of foods is high in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer. Even though there is very little scientific evidence available, allyl sulphides are also thought to aid in colds, high blood pressure and insomnia. Foods containing allyl sulfides also have a low calorie count, so should be included in your weight loss regime. |
