The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup egg beaters¨ 99% egg
1 substitute
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar -- (1/2 to 1 cup)
1 cup heaping, bananas -- mashed
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup 1% low-fat buttermilk
1 cup grape nuts cereal
1 no-stick cokking spray


Directions

Mix all ingredients; bake in a large sprayed loaf pan at 350 degrees
F. for 50-60 minutes. Do not over-bake. Test for doneness with
toothpick.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet plan started by Miami-based cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that one should consume "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Doctor agatston developed his dietary regime for people who have heart disease, as a consequence of his analysis of scientific studies completed on other weight loss studies.
Approved foods include, lean cuts of beef, skinless poultry, shellfish, fat-free cheeses, pistachios, eggs and some vegatables, such as chickpeas, cucumbers and mushrooms.


The Atkins’ Diet
First invented by doctor atkins in the 1960s, the popular atkins diet is still one of the most popular diets today. Popular with many famous celebrities, it allows weight reduction whilst still eating foods that are normally considered bad for diets, such as lamb and eggs.
On the atkins diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, avoiding carbohydrates almost completely. It is often referred to as a low carbohydrate, high protein, diet.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including, but not limited to, cereals and pasta made from white flour.
With this diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil.




Lycopene rich foods
(includes water melon, red bell peppers & baby jackfruit)

The phytochemical lycopene is a naturally occurring compound and part of the same family of phytochemicals as carotene. Lycopene is behind the red color of some natural foods.

Intrestingly, unlike numerous other nutrients, lycopene is not damaged if it is cooked, rather it is in actuality made more effective by being heated.

. Its most important value is that it behaves as an antioxidant and is believed to be of use in the battle to lower the risk of cancer.

This useful phytochemical is the most efficacious fighter of singlet oxygen, which is associated with skin aging. It is also believed to slow down the progression of diseases affecting arterial blood vessels.
