The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup noodles, uncooked
5 cup tomato juice
4 cup celery, chopped finely
1 cup green pepper, chopped finely
4 cup meat,cooked & cubed
1/4 tsp pepper, ground fresh
3 tsp salt, (ugh) 1/2 would do nicely
1 tsp diet margarine


Directions

Heat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients. Turn into well greased
(use a non stick pan spray by today's standard) carrerole; bake 2
hours and 15 minutes. Again I think that this could be done in this
day and age the crockpot. This was for 4 servings, but I made for 8.
Food Exchange per servings: 1 STARCH/BREAD EXCHANGE + 3 MEAT
EXCHANGES 1 VEGETABLE EXCHANGE

The alliaceae family of vegetables is rich in allyl sulphides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is not much scientific proof obtainable, allyl sulphides are also thought to reduce the symptoms of antiinflammatory effect, arteriosclerosis and fatigue.

Foods containing allyl sulfides also help you lose weight, so should be included in every diet system.



The Atkins’ Diet
Now nearly 5 decades old, the atkins diet achieved most of its fame during the last few years. Popular with many famous celebrities, it enables weight reduction whilst encouraging you to eat foods that are normally considered bad for diets, like bacon and cheeses.
With this diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. It is often referred to as a low carb/high protein, diet system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
With this diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are still nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil.
