The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a weight loss system invented by Miami-based cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses that dieters should be eating "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston developed his nutritional system for his cardiac patients, as a result of his detailed analysis of scientific studies completed on other weight loss systems.
Examples of good foods include, broiled ham, skinless poultry, prawns, ricotta cheese, pistachios, lowfat yoghurt and some vegatables, such as kidney beans, collard greens and turnips.

Cruciferous vegetables, Tasty superfoods that help with Dieting

Amongst most other health benefits, the vitamins and nutrients in these are believed by many to significantly lower the risk of getting cancer.

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
