Carotenoid foods
(includes paprika, kale and tomato puree)
These colorful foods are rich in carotenes believed by doctors be a key nutrient in helping prevent cancer, particularly those cancers involving the esophagus and stomach. Most also have a low calorie count, so you should add them to your weight loss program.

The Atkins’ Diet
Now nearly 5 decades old, the atkins diet is still widely used today. Although not accepted by all scientists, it enables weight loss but still allows you to eat many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, such as meat and hard cheese.
With the atkins diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, avoiding carbohydrates almost completely. It is often referred to as a low carbohydrate/high protein, diet.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including, but not limited to, cereals and pasta made from white flour.
Unlike other diets, with the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are still nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter & olive oil.

The Atkins’ Diet Theory
The logic of the famous atkins diet is that if we eat less carbohydrates, we will deplete the fat we already carry and we will diet successfully

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
