Diet Ice Cream Lowfat Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Types of dietThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet invented by Dr. arthur agatston, a cardiologist from miami, usa, which encourages the consumption of "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Agatston invented this diet for people who have heart disease, as a consequence of his detailed study of scientific data completed on other weight loss systems. Good foods include, canadian bacon, turkey bacon, fish and shellfish, feta cheese, almonds, nonfat milk and certain vegetables, like black beans, cauliflower and sprouts. The Glycaemic Index Diet The gi index diet is based around the gi (or glycaemic index), a list of food types and a score representing the speed with which the carbohydrates of the food type gets converted to sugar in your system. The theory is that long-acting types of food (ie those food types with a low Glycaemic index score), keep you feeling full longer and help to reduce your intake of food without being miserabl;e. It's also very efficient for sufferers from diabetes, as the low GI food types are beneficial in managing surges in blood sugar amount. |
