The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 tsp salt and pepper
1 tbsp sugar - or sugar substitute
24 oz hunts tomato sauce, with onions
4 oz cream cheese, softened to lower fat con
1/2 pt sour cream
8 oz thin egg noodles, cooked, drained
1 parmesan cheese
1 grated sharp cheese


Directions

Brown meat; add salt, pepper and sugar. Mix cream cheese with sour
cream; set aside. Put half of the cooked noodles in bottom of 7x12"
baking dish. Top with meat. Spread with sour cream mixture. Top with
other half of noodles (some noodles will be left over, too many
noodles make the dish too dry). Sprinkle with parmesan and sharp
cheese. Bake at 350~ for 30 minutes.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet system invented by Miami-based cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that dieters should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston invented his weight loss regime for people who have heart disease, as a consequence of his detailed study of scientific studies on other dietary studies.
Approved foods include, veal cutlets, turkey breast, prawns, mozzarella cheese, almonds, lowfat milk and some vegatables, like asparagus, eggplant and sprouts.


The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index nutrition system is linked to the gi index, a list of food types and an indicator of the speed that the carbs in the food type gets transformed to glucose in the dieters system. The claim is that slow acting foods (ie with a low Glycaemic score), suppress your appetite for longer and help you to reduce your consumption of food without feeling hungry.
It is also extremely efficient for diabetics, as the low GI foods are beneficial in minimizing rises in blood sugar levels.


The Atkins’ Diet
First invented by doctor atkins in the 1960s, the atkins diet is still widely used today. Having many well known film stars amongst its supporters, it claims to allow weight loss whilst allowing foods that are normally considered bad for diets, for example beef and butter.
With this diet you are encouraged to eat meat and fat, avoiding carbohydrates almost completely. It is often referred to as a low carbohydrate, high protein, nutrition system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and, as a result, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and, as a result, olive oil.
