Foods containing carotenes
(includes cilantro, kale and tomato ketchup)
These foods have high levels of carotenes (alpha and beta) believed by scientists to help in minimizing the risk of cancer, specifically of the the lung, esophagus and stomach. Most also help you lose weight, so make sure you add them to your diet system.

The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index diet is based on the glycaemic index, a list of food types and a score representing the rapidity that the energy of the food gets converted to sugar in the dieters blood stream. The claim is that slow release food types (ie those with a low Gi number), suppress your appetite for longer and help you to take in less food without feeling you are missing out.
It's also extremely effective for people with diabetes, as the low GI types of food are useful in managing increases in blood glucose levels.

"A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
