Ingredients
4 lb chicken wings
1/2 cup butter
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
Directions
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cut the wings up into
"drummettes". (Freeze the pointy "tips" for soup -- they make great
broth!) Then combine the grated cheese and the seasonings. Line a shallow
baking pan with foil. (Do not omit this step, or you'll still be
scrubbing the pan come New Year's Day!) Melt the butter in a shallow bowl
or pan.
Dip each "drummette" in butter, roll in the seasoned cheese, and arrange in
the foil lined pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Kick yourself that
you didn't make a double recipe!!

Diet Heroin Wings Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Diet typesThe Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition and weightloss system initially suggested by Barry Sears in a series of books. The Zone diet isn’t exactly a weight reduction diet, however many followers claim that they lose weight when following it. The scientific theory behind the Zone Diet is that if you manage to gain control of the secretion of the hormones 'insulin' and 'glucogen', then your body releases eicosanoids which, as a consequence puts one's body in a state of equilibrium which is much, much more healthful than normal, known as the 'zone'. Sears claims that if you get into this 'zone', your body is much more efficient and, because of this, does not convert energy to unsightly fat. The key technique of the zone system is to keep tight control over the ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to dose yourself with plenty of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils. The South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet plan invented by Cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that one should eat "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Dr. agatston developed the south beach diet for people who have cardiac problems, based on his detailed study of scientific studies on other weight loss regimes. Approved foods include, lean beef, turkey bacon, clams, ricotta cheese, pistachio nuts, eggs and some vegatables, such as asparagus, collard greens and turnips. The Glycaemic Index Diet The glycaemic index nutrition and weightloss system is linked to the gi index, a list showing foods and a score representing the speed with which the glucose and energy in the food type gets converted to glucose in your bloodstream. The theory is that long-acting food types (ie those foods with a low Glycaemic score), keep you feeling full longer and help you to eat less food without feeling hungry. It is also extremely good for people with diabetes, as the low GI foods are useful in controlling increases in blood sugar secretion. |
