The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp basil
1 tsp marjoram
1 tbsp dried onion flakes
1/2 cup popcorn, popped
1 butter to taste


Directions

Combine the salt, thyme, basil, marjoram and dried onion and mix well. Use
one or two teaspoons per 1/2 cup corn, popped with butter.

The Atkins’ Diet
First invented by doctor atkins in the sixities, the atkins diet achieved most of its fame during the last few years. Having many well known film stars amongst its supporters, it supposedly allows fat reduction whilst still eating many of the foods you love, such as lamb and hard cheeses.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet you eat protein and fat, it is the carbs that must be avoided. Because of this, it is known as a low carbohydrate, high protein, diet.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including, but not limited to, cereals and pasta made from white flour.
With the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter & olive oil.

The Atkins’ Diet Theory
The controversial theory behind the atkins diet is that even though our bodies use both fats and carbs to burn into energy, it is the carbohydrates which are burned primarily. If we consume less carbs, we will deplete the fat we already carry and we will reduce weight. This is the bit that is contentious, not all nutritionalists accept this as true and a good number of allege that it is sometimes dangerous.

(inlcudes onion, apples, kidney bean & basil)

The compounds known as flavonoids found in these food types are believed to be helpful as cancer fighters.
Medical experts who have been studying the properties of flavonoids think that they may well also have numerous other health giving capabilities, including anti-candida and antitumor capabilities.
Most also help you lose weight, so you should add them to your weight loss regime.
