A low calorie weight loss regime
In simple terms, low calorie diet says that if you plan to reduce weight, the most important step is to take in fewer calories than you need for exercise. Definition of a calorie? The calorie is a unit for measuring food's ability to produce heat and energy. A 'calorie' is the the amount of energy required to raise one cubic centimeter of water by one degree centigrade. If something has more calories, then it will gives you more energy when your body digests it. Low calorie food types include celery, tomatoes, grapefruit, ground turkey, and low-fat cheese. Foods containing allyl sulfides ( includes garlic, leeks and spring onions) The onion, leek and garlic family of foods is rich in allyl sulphides, a chemical which experts believe could be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer. Even though there is insufficient scientific proof present, allyl sulfides are also thought by many experts to help with antiinflammatory effect, high blood pressure and physical exhaustion. Foods containing allyl sulfides are also low in calories, so should be included in your diet system. |
