The Atkins’ Diet
First invented by doctor atkins in the 1960s, the popular atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systems over the last few years. Popular with many famous celebrities, it allows weight reduction whilst allowing you to eat many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, for example pork and butter.
With the atkins diet you eat protein and fat, it is the carbs that must be avoided. It is often referred to as a low carbohydrate, high protein, diet system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, amongst them, cereals and pasta made from white flour.
On the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish & poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter & olive oil.

Lycopene super foods
(includes apricots, red bell peppers & tomato sauce)

The chemical lypcopene is a non-synthetic coloring compound and a member of the phytochemical group known as 'carotenids'. This chemical is responsible for the deep red colour of many fruit, vegetables and pulses.

Intrestingly, unlike numerous vitamins, this useful phytochemical not only survives being cooked, but is observably increased in efficacy by cooking.

. Lycoprene's most valuable nutritional contribution is that it serves as an antioxidant and appears to be an asset in the battle to lower the chances of contracting cancer.

It is the strongest eliminator of singlet oxygen, which is linked with aging of the skin. It's also thought to block the growth of atherosclerosis.

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life.
