Ingredients
4 oz baking chocolate
1/2 cup water, boiling
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar replacement
3 tbsp granulated fructose
4 eggs yolks
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Directions
Melt chocolate to boiling water. Cool. Cream butter, sugar
replacement and fructose until fluffy. Add egg yolks, one at a time,
beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla and chocolate
water. Sift flour with baking soda and salt, add alternately with
buttermilk to chocolate mixture, beating well after each addition
until smooth. Fold in beaten egg whites. Grease three 3 9" baking
pans; line them with paper, grease again, and lightly flour pans;
pour batter into the three pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30
minutes or until cakes test done. Remove from pans onto racks, remove
paper lining. Cool. Food Exchange per serving: 1/2 BREAD EXCHANGE +
1/2 FAT EXCHANGE; CAL: 50;

Diet informationThe low calorie diet Put simply, the low calorie diet says that if you are going to achieve weight loss, it is important to reduce your intake of calories than you use. Definition of a calorie? A calorie is a unit of measurement for energy. A food calorie is the amount of heat required to raise 1 kilogram of water 1 degree centigrade. If a food type has more calories, then it will provide your body with more energy when it is eaten. Foods low in calories include brussels sprouts, mushrooms, grapefruit, beef, and low-fat cheese. The Atkins’ Diet Originating way back in the 1960s, the famous atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systems over the last few years. Having many well known film stars amongst its supporters, it allows fat reduction whilst allowing you to eat many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, eg meat and hard cheeses. Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet you are encouraged to eat meat and fat, avoiding carbohydrates almost completely. It is often referred to as a high protein, low carb, nutrition and weightloss system. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour. With this diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are still nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and, as a consequence, olive oil. The South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a weight loss system invented by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that one should consume "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Dr. agatston invented his system as an aid to patients with heart conditions, as a consequence of his detailed study of scientific studies completed on other weight loss regimes. "good" foods include, veal cutlets, chicken breast, seafood, mozzarella cheese, pistachio nuts, lowfat yoghurt and certain vegetables, such as chickpeas, broccoli and sprouts. |
