The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1/4 cup walnuts

DRY INGREDIENTS

2 cup unbleached white flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

WET INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup fruit sweetener
3 eggs
2 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup mashed bananas, (2 md size)


Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray two bread pans with lecithin
spray. Toast the walnuts in the oven for 7-10 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Allow the nuts to cool. Then coarsely chop them with a knife
or with a pulsing action in a food processor. Put them aside. Sift the dry
ingredients together. Use an electric mixer on medium speed to whisk the
oil and the sweetener together until thickened, about 5 minutes. Add the
eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Reduce the speed and
stir in the vanilla and the mashed bananas. On low speed, slowly add the
sifted dry ingredients and the toasted walnuts. Mix just until blended,
being careful not to overmix. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans.
Bake the loaves on the middle shelf of the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes
until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Cool the loaves slightly before removing them from the pans and cooling
them on a wire rack. When cool, wrap the breads in plastic wrap and let
them sit overnight at rom temperature before slicing (if you can wait).

The South Beach diet is a diet created by Dr. arthur agatston, a cardiologist from miami, usa, which emphasizes the consumption of "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"

Sears states that if you get into this 'zone', your metabolism is perfectly balanced and, as a consequence, does not need to build up stores of fat.
The most important technique of the diet is to control the precise ratio of carbs to proteins, and to take large amounts of Omega 3 and omega 6.


The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi (or glycaemic index) nutrition and weight loss system is based on the glycaemic index, a list showing types of food and an indicator of the ease that the carbs in the food gets transformed to sugar in your system. The claim is that long-acting food types (ie with a low Glycaemic index score), keep you satisfied for a longer period of time and help you to reduce your intake of food without feeling hungry.
It's also very useful for folk with diabetes, as the low GI foods are helpful in reducing surges in glucose secretion.
