Diet informationThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet invented by Florida-based cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that one should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Doctor agatston invented his dietary regime for people who have cardiac problems, as a consequence of his detailed study of scientific data completed on other weight loss regimes. Examples of good foods include, lean beef, chicken breast, shrimp, low or fat free cheeses, peanut butter, lowfat milk and some vegatables, such as lentils, eggplant and spinach. |
