Diet types

The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index nutrition system is based around the gi (or glycaemic index), a list showing types of food and a score illustrating the rapidity that the carbohydrates in the food gets transformed to sugar in your system. The claim is that slow acting types of food (ie those with a low Glycaemic index score), will keep you feeling full for longer and help to reduce your intake of food without being miserabl;e.
It's also extremely effective for diabetics, as the low GI food types are helpful in minimizing surges in blood glucose amount.

"A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
