Superfoods rich in flavonoids
(inlcudes garlic, brussels sprouts, soya and thyme)

The compounds known as flavonoids which exist in these natural foods show promise in helping to prevent cancer.
Experts who have been studying the properties of flavonoids believe that they may well have most other benefits to our health, amongst them, anti-candida and antitumor powers.
Most are also good for weight loss, so should be included in every diet.

The low-cal diet

Rather obviously, low calorie diet says that if you plan to become thinner, the most important step is to eat less calories than you burn up.

Definition of a calorie?
A calorie is a unit of measurement for energy. A 'calorie' is the the energy required to increase the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree centigrade at normal atmospheric pressure. If something contains more calories, then it will gives you more energy to use when it is eaten.

Low-cal food types include watercress, cucumbers, grapefruit, lean ham, and bamboo shoots.

"A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
