The Recipe Instructions

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 tbsp finely-chopped onion
1 lb ground lamb or beef
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup pitted green olives, coarsely chopped
2 eggs
2 tbsp Tabil Spice Mixture, (listed below)
= (or 1 tspn dried oregano)
=== TABIL SPICE MIXTURE ===
1 1/2 tbsp caraway seeds
1/4 cup coriander seeds
2 dried red chilies

Directions

Combine all the ingredients with your hands and shape into 16 meatballs.
Place the meatballs about 2-inches apart on a baking sheet and broil, about
3-inches away from the heat until browned on top. Turn over and broil on
the other side.

You don't really need any salt in this recipe as the feta and olives
provide enough. You can also fry the meatballs in olive oil, but I think
broiling is easier! Try the spice mixture. It tastes great in the
meatballs.

Tabil Spice Mixture: Roast the spices in a dry frying pan over medium heat
until fragrant. Cool and finely grind in a coffee grinder.

This recipe yields 16 meatballs.

Brassicas, Tasty superfoods that aid Dieting
(includes Broccoli, Boiled potatoes, Mustard greens and Daikon)
Altthough not always popular with children, these vegetables are rich in vitamins (eg.folate and vitamin c), minerals (eg. potassium), fibre, chlorophyll, antioxidents and isothiocyanates.

Over and above their many other health giving properties, the isothiocyanates in these are thought by doctors to significantly lower the risk of getting cancer.

Superfoods containing lycopene
(includes water melon, red bell peppers and tomato sauce)

Lycopene is a natural pigment and a member of the carotenid family. This chemical is behind the vivid red hue of some fruits and vegetables.

Fortunately, unlike numerous other nutrients, this useful phytochemical does not become less effective if heated during cooking, but is in fact improved by being cooked.

. Its most valuable medical value is that it serves as an antioxidant and appears to be of use in the battle to lower the chances of developing cancer.

It is the most powerful fighter of singlet oxygen, which is connected with aging of the skin. It's also thought by nutritionalists to hamper the development of atherosclerosis.

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
