Diet Farina And Fruit Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Types of dietThe Atkins’ Diet First invented by doctor atkins in the 1960s, the famous atkins diet is still one of the most popular diets today. Popular with many famous celebrities, it supposedly allows fat reduction whilst allowing you to eat many of the foods you love, such as fatty meat and hard cheese. With this diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. It is referred to as a low carbohydrate, high protein, nutrition and weight loss system. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour. Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil. The Atkins’ Diet Theory The controversial theory behind the atkins diet is that even if our bodies use both fats and carbs to change into glucose, it is the carbs which are burned initially. If we cut down on carbohydrates, we will utilize the fat we have stored and we will lose weight. This is the bit that is divisive, not all specialists are in agreement and many think it can be unsafe. The South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet invented by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that one should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Doctor agatston invented the south beach diet for people who have cardiac problems, based on his analysis of scientific data completed on other weight loss regimes. Good foods include, lean beef, turkey breast, oysters, provolone cheese, peanut butter, lowfat or nonfat milk and certain vegetables, such as green beans, cabbage and mushrooms. The Glycaemic Index Diet The glycaemic index nutrition and weight loss system is based around the gi index, a list showing types of food and an indicator of the ease that the energy of the food type gets converted to sugar in the dieters system. The theory is that long-acting foods (ie those with a low Gi number), suppress your appetite for longer and help to reduce your intake of food without being miserabl;e. It is also extremely effective for diabetes sufferers, as the low GI types of food are useful in controlling surges in blood sugar amount. |
