Lycopene super foods
(includes melon, red bell peppers and tomatoes)

The nutrient lypcopene is a naturally occurring coloring compound and one of the same family of phytochemicals as carotene. It is the agent responsible for the deep red color of a good number of fruit and vegetables.

Unlike numerous nutrients, lycopene is not damaged if it is cooked, but is genuinely strengthened by cooking.

. Its main advantage is that it works as an antioxidant and appears to help reduce the risks of contracting cancer.

This useful phytochemical is the most effective quencher of singlet oxygen, which is correlated with skin aging. It's also thought by many experts to curtail the growth of diseases affecting arterial blood vessels.

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
