Ingredients
1 package (8 0z. size) cream cheese
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1 milkcote or whitecoat chocolate
Directions
Cream the cream cheese and add pecans. Chill until cheese will form
balls. Dip balls into melted whitecote or milkcote chocolate coating.
Makes about
25 balls.

Weight loss dietsThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet plan invented by Dr. arthur agatston which stresses that dieters should eat "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Dr. agatston invented the south beach diet for people who have heart disease, based on his detailed analysis of scientific studies completed on other weight loss systems. Approved foods include, veal cutlets, turkey breast, shellfish, low or fat free cheeses, almonds, lowfat or nonfat milk and some vegatables, such as lentils, cucumbers and snow peas. The Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition system first detailed by Barry Sears in a number of books, publications and an associated web site. The Zone diet is not expressly a fat reduction diet, but many zone diet fans find that they really reduce a few pounds when following it. The science behind the Zone Diet is that if one can manage to limit the amount of two important hormones, (insulin and glucogen), then your body releases eicosanoids (anti-inflamatory chemicals) which, in turn puts your body in a state of balance that is much more healthy than other diets, which is known as the zone. Sears states that a body that is in 'the zone' is working at its best and, because of this, does not convert energy to unsightly fat. The most important technique of the zone system is to control the ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to take increased amounts of Omega 3 fish oils. The Glycaemic Index Diet The glycaemic index nutrition and weightloss system is reliant on the glycaemic index, a list of foods and a score representing the ease with which the carbs in the food gets changed to glucose in the dieters system. The believe is that long-acting types of food (ie those with a low Gi score), suppress your appetite and help you to reduce your consumption of food without feeling you are always hungry. It is also very beneficial for individuals with diabetes, as the low GI food types are beneficial in managing increases in blood glucose amount. |
