Ingredients
1 lb milkcote or whitecoat chocolate
1 cup crunchy cereal watermelon seeds or, any other crunchy
Directions
In the top of a double boiler, melt coating over hot, not boiling,
water. Add cereal and seeds. Blend together thoroughly, then pour
onto waxed paper and spread thinly. Let stand until firm. Break into

Weight loss systemsThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet invented by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which encourages that dieters should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Dr. agatston invented the south beach diet as an aid to patients with heart conditions, based on his detailed analysis of scientific data on other nutritional studies. "good" foods include, lean cuts of beef, skinless poultry, clams, parmesan cheese, peanut butter, nonfat yoghurt and some vegatables, such as lentils, cucumbers and sprouts. The Atkins’ Diet Now nearly 5 decades old, the atkins diet is still one of the most popular diets today. Although not accepted by all scientists, it enables weight loss whilst still eating many foods that are not normally available to dieters, for example lamb and hard cheeses. With this diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. It is often referred to as a low carbohydrate/high protein, nutrition and weightloss system. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour. Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and, as a result, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil. The Glycaemic Index Diet The gi index nutrition system is based on the gi index, a chart showing types of food and a score illustrating the speed with which the glucose in the food gets converted to glucose in the dieters body. The claim is that long-acting foods (ie those foods with a low Glycaemic index score), suppress your appetite and help to reduce your intake of food without being miserabl;e. It's also very good for individuals with diabetes, as the low GI food types are helpful in preventing increases in glucose amount. |
