Diet Diabetic Almond Macaroons Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Diet informationThe Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition and weight loss system first advocated by Barry Sears in a series of books. The Zone diet is not specifically a fat reduction diet, however many zone diet fans claim that they actually lose body weight when following it. The theory behind the Zone Diet is that if one can manage to limit the levels of insulin and glucogen (two hormones produced naturally by your body), then your body releases eicosanoids which, in turn puts the body in a state of balance that is a lot more wholesome than other diets, which followers of the diet, refer to as '"he zone". Sears claims that if you get into this 'zone', your metabolism is working at its best and, as a result, does not build up fat. The key process of the zone diet is to monitor and control the precise ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to make sure your diet has large amounts of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils. |
