Ingredients


PATTI VDRJ67A

10 cup popped popcorn, 3.5 oz microwave bag is
3 cup bugle-shaped corn snacks
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup parmesan cheese


Directions

Mix popcorn and corn snack in large microwavable bowl.
Place remaining ingredients except cheese in 1 cup micro-safe measure.
Microwave on HIGH about 1 minute or until margarine melts; stir. Pour over
popcorn mix.
Toss until evenly coated. Microwave, uncovered, 2-4 minutes, stirring
every minute, until toasted.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve warm. Makes 10 cups.

Types of diet


The Atkins’ Diet
Originating way back in the 1960s, the atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systems over the last few years. Although not accepted by all scientists, it claims to allow fat reduction but still allows you to eat many foods that are not normally available to dieters, like lamb and butter.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet you are encouraged to eat meat and fat, it is the carbs that must be avoided. It is referred to as a low carbohydrate, high protein, nutrition system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
Unlike other diets, with the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil.




The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index diet is based on the glycaemic index, a list showing food types and an indicator of the rapidity with which the glucose and energy of the food type gets changed to sugar in your bloodstream. The believe is that long-acting food types (ie those food types with a low Gi score), suppress your appetite for longer and help to eat less food without feeling you are always hungry.
It's also extremely effective for folk with diabetes, as the low GI types of food are helpful in reducing increases in glucose amount.


The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet system created by Dr. arthur agatston which stresses the consumption of "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston invented his nutritional system for his cardiac patients, based on his analysis of scientific data on other diets.
"good" foods include, lean cuts of beef, turkey bacon, shrimp, fat-free cheeses, almonds, lowfat milk and some vegatables, like black beans, eggplant and snow peas.
