The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup chocolate chips
3 cup skim milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup granulated sugar replacement
2 tsp vanilla extract
8 slice dry bread


Directions

Melt the chocolate chips in 1 cup of the skim milk over medium heat.
Stir in the remaining milk. Set aside. Beat eggs unitl frothy; add
salt, sugar replacement and vanilla extract. Beat well. Stir egg
mixture into chocolate/milk mixture. Trim crust from bread and cut
into slices into small cubes. Drop cubes into greased 1 1/2-qt
casseole or baking dish. Pour chocalate mixture over the bread cubes;
be sure to saturate all the cubes. Set casserole in pan of hot water.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until pudding ic completely set.
Serve warm or cold. Food Exchange per serving: 1 BREAD EXCHANGE + 1

Types of diet


The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index nutrition and weightloss system is reliant on the gi index, a list of foods and a score representing the rapidity with which the glucose and energy in the food type gets transformed to glucose in the dieters body. The theory is that slow acting types of food (ie with a low Glycaemic index score), keep you feeling full longer and help you to reduce your consumption of food without feeling hungry.

First invented by doctor atkins in the sixities, the atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systms over the last few years. Although not accepted by all scientists, it enables fat reduction whilst allowing you to eat many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, like pork and egg and cheese.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. It is often referred to as a high protein, low carb, nutrition and weightloss system.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
On the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and, as a consequence, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil.




The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet system started by Cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that one should consume "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Doctor agatston developed his weight loss system for people who have cardiac problems, based on his detailed study of scientific research on other weight loss systems.
Examples of good foods include, broiled ham, turkey bacon, clams, mozzarella cheese, peanut butter, eggs and certain vegetables, like asparagus, cucumbers and snow peas.


The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a nutrition and weight loss system initially suggested by Barry Sears in a series of books, publications and an associated website. The Zone diet isn’t particularly a weight loss diet, nevertheless many people discover that they manage to lose weight by following the zone diet.
The theory behind the Zone Diet is that if you manage to gain control of the levels of the hormones 'insulin' and 'glucogen', then anti-inflammatory chemicals are released which, as a consequence puts the body in a state of equilibrium which is much more wholesome than normal, which followers of the diet, refer to as '"he zone".
Sears states that a body that is in 'the zone' is much more efficient and, as a consequence, doesn't need to build up stores of fat.
The key process of the diet is to keep tight control over the exact ratio of carbs to proteins, and to take increased amounts of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils.
