The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet created by Miami-based cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses that dieters should be eating "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Agatston developed his weight loss system as an aid to patients with heart conditions, as a consequence of his analysis of scientific research on other weight loss regimes.
Examples of good foods include, lean cuts of beef, skinless poultry, shellfish, fat-free cheeses, pecan halves, nonfat yoghurt and certain vegetables, like lentils, cauliflower and mushrooms.
