Foods containing allyl sulfides
( includes pickled shallots, leeks and welsh onion)

The onion, leek and garlic family of foods is high in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe could be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is as yet, not enough scientific evidence present, allyl sulphides are also believed to reduce symptoms with antiinflammatory effect, sterilization and insomnia.

Foods containing allyl sulfides are low in calories, so you should add them to your weight loss program.

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
