Ingredients
1 cup chopped fresh broccoli flowerettes
1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken
1/4 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 tsp dried tarragon leaves
1 tbsp Fleischmann's original margarine
1 cup Egg Beaters healthy real egg produc
Directions
In 10-inch nonstick skillet, over medium heat, sauté broccoli, chicken,
tomato, onion and tarragon in margarine until broccoli is tender-crisp.
Reduce heat to low.
Pour Egg Beaters evenly into skillet over chicken mixture. Cover; cook for
5 to 7 minutes or until cooked on bottom and almost set on top. Slide
onto serving platter; cut into wedges to serve.
This recipe yields 2 servings.

The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a weight loss regime primarily detailed by Barry Sears in a series of books, publications and an accompanying website. The Zone diet is not particularly a weight loss diet, but some people claim that they actually reduce weight when following it. The scientific theory behind the Zone Diet is that if one can manage to gain control of the levels of insulin and glucogen (two hormones), then anti-inflammatory chemicals are released which, in turn puts one's body in a state of equilibrium that is more healthy than normal, which followers of the diet, refer to as '"he zone". Sears believes that if you get into this 'zone', your body is working at its best and, as a result, does not build up layers of fat. The main technique of the system is to maintain the precise ratio of carbs to proteins, and to ensure your diet has plenty of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils. The South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet system started by Dr. arthur agatston which emphasizes that dieters should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Doctor agatston developed his weight loss system as an aid to patients with heart conditions, as a result of his analysis of scientific studies completed on other dietary studies. Good foods include, lean beef, turkey breast, clams, parmesan cheese, peanut butter, lowfat or nonfat milk and certain vegetables, like lentils, broccoli and mushrooms. Healthy foods with carotenes (includes cilantro, kale and sweet potatoes) These fruits and vegetables contain alpha and beta carotenes thought to play a role in minimizing the chances of contracting, particularly those cancers involving the lung, esophagus and stomach. Most are low in calories, so should be included in every diet system. |
