Ingredients
1 veg. cooking oil
6 4 oz. skinned, boned chickes
1 tbsp margerine
1 tbsp plus 1 ts all purpose flour
1 12 oz. can evaporated skimmk
1 tbsp freeze dried chives
3/4 cup (3 oz) crumbled feta cheese
Directions
Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray, place over med. heat
until hot. Add chicken, and cook 7 min on each side until done. Set
aside and keep warm.
Melt margarine in a small saucepan over medium heat, add flour. Cook 1
minute stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Gradually add milk,
stirring constantly. Stir in chives. Reduce heat to medium-low and
cook, stirring constantly, 3 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
Add cheese, and stir until cheese melts. spoon over chicken

The Glycaemic Index Diet The glycaemic index nutrition and weightloss system is linked to the glycaemic index, a list of food types and an indicator of the speed that the glucose in the food gets converted to glucose in your system. The claim is that long-acting types of food (ie those food types with a low Glycaemic score), will keep you feeling full for longer and help to eat less food without feeling you are missing out. It is also extremely good for diabetics, as the low GI types of food are beneficial in managing rises in blood sugar secretion. |
