1 package thin sliced roaster breast
2 tbsp flour
2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp dry mustard
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cl garlic, minced
1/2 cup sherry

Pepper's piquant flavor helps disguise the lack of salt.

On wax paper, combine flour, pepper, and mustard. Lightly coat
chicken with flour mixture, pressing to make pepper adhere.

In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add garlic; saute
30 seconds. Place chicken in skillet so that pieces do not touch.
Cook abnout 4 minutes or until lightly browned, turning once. Remove
to serving platter; keep warm. Pour off fat; stir in sherry. Cook
over high heat, stirring constantly 2-3 minutes or until thickened
and liquid is reduced by half. Stir in parsley. Spoon sauce over
chicken.

Weight loss diets

The Zone Diet
The Zone diet is a nutrition system initially created by Barry Sears in a number of books, publications and an accompanying website. The Zone diet isn’t distinctly a weight loss diet, however many zone diet followers claim that they actually manage to lose body weight by following this system.
The 'science' claimed for the Zone Diet is that if you can limit the secretion of two important hormones, (insulin and glucogen), then your body releases eicosanoids which, as a consequence puts your body in a state of balance which is much more healthful than it normally is, which is known as the zone.
Sears states that if you get into this 'zone', your metabolism is much more efficient and, because of this, does not build up fat.
The main technique of the system is to keep tight control over the exact ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to ensure your diet has large amounts of Omega 3 fish oils.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet system created by Miami-based cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes that dieters should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Dr. agatston developed this diet for his cardiac patients, based on his detailed analysis of scientific data on other nutritional studies.
"good" foods include, lean beef, skinless poultry, seafood, mozzarella cheese, pistachio nuts, nonfat yoghurt and some vegatables, like green beans, celery and mushrooms.

The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi index nutrition and weight loss system is linked to the gi (or glycaemic index), a list showing types of food and a score representing the ease with which the energy in the food type gets changed to sugar in your body. The claim is that slow release food types (ie those with a low Gi number), keep you satiated for longer and mean that you can reduce your intake of food without feeling you are always hungry.
It's also very efficient for individuals with diabetes, as the low GI foods are useful in controlling increases in blood glucose levels.

"A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.
"Walter Savage Landor"

"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit."

"Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. At your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. You will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. Losing weight is not a cure for life"
Phillip C. McGraw
