Ingredients
2 1/2 cup brown rice cooked
3 green onions, chopped
1 cup lowfat cottage cheese
1 tsp dried dill
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup lowfat milk
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour into a lightly oiled
casserole. Bake at 350 F for 15 to 20 minutes.

( includes eschalot, chives and welsh onion) The onion and garlic family of vegetables is rich in allyl sulfides, a chemical which experts believe may be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer. Although there is precious little scientific evidence available, allyl sulfides are also believed to reduce problems with colds, sterilization and physical exhaustion. Foods containing allyl sulfides also have a low calorie count, so should be included in every diet system. |
