Ingredients
2 1/2 cup brown rice, cooked
3 green onions, chopped
1 cup lowfat cottage cheese
1 tsp dried dill
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup lowfat milk
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour into a lightly oiled
casserole. Bake at 350 F for 15 to 20 minutes.

The South Beach Diet
The South Beach diet is a diet plan created by Dr. arthur agatston, a cardiologist from miami, usa, which stresses that dieters should eat "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Agatston invented his nutritional system for people who have cardiac problems, based on his analysis of scientific data completed on other weight loss studies. Examples of good foods include, lean beef, turkey bacon, shellfish, parmesan cheese, peanut butter, eggs and certain vegetables, like asparagus, eggplant and mushrooms. The Atkins’ Diet First invented by doctor atkins in the sixities, the popular atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systems over the last few years. Popular with many famous celebrities, it supposedly allows weight reduction whilst encouraging you to eat many foods that are not normally available to dieters, for example meat and cheeses. Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet you are encouraged to eat meat and fat, it is carbohydrates that need to be avoided. It is often referred to as a low carb/high protein, diet system. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, amongst them, cereals and pasta made from white flour. On the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish & poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter & olive oil. Superfoods containing carotenes (includes cilantro, turnip greens and tomato ketchup) These amazing fruits and vegetables contain carotenes believed play a key part in helping prevent cancer, specifically those cancers involving the esophagus and stomach. Most also help you lose weight, so should be included in your diet. |
